Paragon has 6 complete sets of Competition Spec Calibrated Powerlifting Plates - ensure your success on the platform by training with the equipment you'll use on the day.
Paragon has 5 Competition Spec Combo Racks - more than any other powerlifting facility in Australia, so no matter when you train, there will always be a place to squat or bench.
Paragon also has state of the art accessory equipment including a cable crossover, leg press, lat pull down, seated cable row, dumbbells to 50kg, back extension, GHR & more.
Paragon has an accessible change-room, bathroom & shower facility with wheelchair access, in addition to member lockers & a second washroom & bathroom.
With over 20 years of experience between the four coaches that work at Paragon, you won't have any issues tracking down your strength, powerlifting & bodybuilding pursuits.
meet our coaches
Nick is the Co-Owner of Paragon Strength & Performance & has been a personal trainer & coach for in excess of 11 years. He specialises in improving body composition, strength training & nutrition. He mainly works in a one on one capacity with clients all over the world, whilst also offering in-person PT. He runs a strength training group – ‘Squad’ – twice a week which consists mainly of strong women who like to challenge themselves & compete in powerlifting. Matt has been a personal trainer and powerlifting coach for 5 years, specialising in strength training & powerlifting coaching. Matt is an elite level powerlifter, with experience on both National & World stages, and is the 2019 Powerlifting Australia National Champion. Matt runs both supervised group coaching sessions & one on one personal training sessions out of Paragon. You can find out more about working with Matt HERE.
Chrissy has been a personal trainer and coach for over 5 years now & specialises in strength training & nutrition for women. As a powerlifter, she has experience on the National Stage, finishing on the podium in both 2018 & 2019. Chrissy runs one on one personal training & coaching sessions out of Paragon.
